This past Saturday, my dad played at Stone Pizza Company a pizza-place/bar in downtown Greenville. He’s apart of the Adam Kiraly Band. Last year, we heard the CD for the first time, and we just loved it. Saturday was our first time seeing the band live, and let me tell ya, I was one proud daughter! I loved watching my dad get to do what he loves! We really enjoyed ourselves, singing along to the songs and everything. Watching the band give it their all was a blast. I also enjoyed meeting all my dad’s friends and their families. The whole experience was a 10/10. I hope to see them play more often!

Last week we went downtown for no particular reason. I mean, is there a better reason to get out of the house?
Normally, I would have been sitting on my bed watching TV or listening to music, so it was nice to watch geese and listen to nature for a change. I am thankful that this summer has gotten off to a wonderful start!
GOD WANTS TO GIVE YOU THE WORLD.
you know how I know? because when God made man He gave him dominion over everything that He had made. Everything God made and called "good," was given to Adam. God wants to gives us the good things. As my dad says whenever we talk about this, "the earth was literally his." (Genesis....) God literally gave Adam the world. And if you look at the people living after Jesus died on the cross and rose again, God gave us the WORD which was Jesus: the most important thing to God in all of creation. His son! If God gave us JESUS, so that we could have a chance to live eternally with Him, what makes you think that God can't give you a car or a spouse or a friend, or anything else? It is in His nature to give us the best.
Have you ever struggled with something that seems to come easily for everyone else? And it seems like no one can see you, like you’re invisible?
This has been an ongoing thing in my life. I even use to think that there was something wrong with me. It was always no big deal for others around me to make friends, or to get a boyfriend, or good grades, etc. But for me, it seemed like I could never get ahead.
Feeling like you aren’t important is an awful feeling, but it’s also a lie.
I’ve realized this from the story of Joseph.
He was neglected by his brothers, sold into slavery, lied on, forgotten about… and yet at the end of it all he was able to say,
“you meant it for evil, but God meant it for good.”
these shoes have seen years of sunny days, rainy days, puddles, sidewalks, grass and mud and i can still use them. All it took was some cleaning & they’re still serving their purpose!-----it’s not over for you just because you’ve been through a lot and you feel useless! ur still here & God still has a purpose for you to serve! When you get beat up and dirty don’t think God can’t lift you up out of your mess and fix you right up! Bc He can; He blots out ALL your shame!! much like my shoes, no matter what mess you step in God can still use you I mean Paul killed christians and then ended up writing a lot of the New Testament that we study, read, and love today! Believe there’s hope for you!!
